This project management role, is a new position within i-Optics. The main objective is to successfully manage (new product) development projects. The project manager creates a swift and collaborative working environment and manages cross functionally. The Project Manager Engineering reports to the COO.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the activities of the engineering teams, including software, mechanical, optical and electronical engineering.
- Provide technical know-how
- Translate requirements into technical features and manage the development of those features
- Manage software development projects (including firmware, middleware, image processing and GUI development)
- Actively manage planning, delivery, staff and quality. Pro-actively solve (time management) problems
- Deliver projects in line with CE and FDA regulations, including proper documentation and registration
- Actively liaise with stakeholders and other i-Optics departments

We are looking for an energetic, driven project management professional with a combination of the following skills and competencies:
- bachelor or master in engineering or equivalent
- at least five years experience in a technical environment
- track record in multi-disciplined engineering projects (e.g. software software development plus mechnical and electronical engineering)
- at least three years of experience in (managing) software development projects
- experience in regulatory projects within healthcare or life sciences is an advantage but not required
- committed to results, proactive, can do attitude, flexible and able to handle ever changing situations.

60000-64000 (gross per year, depending on years of experience and educational level)
