The Engineering Dairy Equipment department is responsible for (through) developing - amongst others - automated milking systems, feeding systems as well as other products. The department comprises of a group of highly practical engineers, a workshop plus testing department, where the worked-out concepts can be built and tested in practice without delay. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for a number of products that are to be developed, or that need to be developed further on the basis of existing concepts.

You will be responsible for the (ongoing) development of electronic components for the control of machines and systems for the dairy farming business.

Major activities:
- Compiling technical and functional specifications;
- Taking stock of all possible technical resources that may be required in order to
  realise the project, making relevant choices as well as organising/procuring
  these resources;
- Project planning;
- Building prototypes in keeping with specifications;
- Setting up and carrying out desk tests in consultation with the Senior Engineer;
- Control Software;
- Setting up, assessing and processing field test plans in consultation with the
  Test Engineer;
- Making up technical documentation for the Customer Support dept;
- Providing 3rd line support to the Customer Support dept;
- Setting up and maintaining the technical electronics file as well as project 
  documentation;
- Describing new details (e.g. for release or patent purposes);
- Setting up procedures for incoming inspection of electronic components.

- A completed vocational education in electrical engineering plus some years of
  work experience;
- Good command of the English language;
