In this function you will be responsible for the realization of electronic products, in cooperation with a team of professionals. Together with this team you will specify, develop, qualify and industrialize the product according to the customers assignments. You are responsible for realizing the product within the deadline and introducing the product to our highly automated production lines.  You will study chances and threats. You are the link between the project employees and the Management Team.

The job activities consist of thinking about the project along with the client, drawing up a project plan and operationally managing the project. Besides that, you are involved with technical dilemmas and deciding between different available technologies.

In our modern society we are continuously making use of recent developments in electro technology. The products developed by AME can be found in various parts of the society; ranging from consumer technology (for example: energy management, DECT telephone systems) to electronics for the healthcare sector, but also industrial appliances (mechatronic systems).

As project manager you will be the pillar the product development leans on. In this function you will have a huge public influence with the products you and your team develop. AME is searching for an applicant with (preferably) work experience with product development and knowledge of electronical circuits. The candidate must possess an academic thinking and working level, and have a masters degree in either electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or mechanical engineering. You can work well on paper and can communicate in both English and Dutch fluently.

AME offers a salary according to the market standards and good secondary working agreements. The growth within the team is determined by your achievements.

The procedure consists of three rounds. The first round is a conversation with a MT member of AME discussing your ambitions, background and personality. The second round will focus on your level and the content of the function you are after in detail. For the second round you will receive a case to prepare, and this shall be discussed in an assessment. Within two days after the assessment the result is given. If the outcome is positive, then a third conversation about the working agreements and your career path takes place. This whole procedure takes approx. 2 weeks.
