As PCB Layout Engineer you will be involved in the entire PCB Layout desgin process. This includes the schematic design, pre/post simulations, constraining and making a final layout which can be transferred to production. You will work on challenging and complex PCB designs in which you will need a variety of technical skills. You will work in a high-tech environment with motivated professionals as your colleagues. Affinity with digital hardware design is a plus for this position.
Skills and education
- Bachelor or higher education degree in Electronics (HBO/WO);
- Familiar with Cadence Allegro / PCAD;
- Familiar with topology and X-talk simulations;
- Experience is certainly not required, a passion for technology certainly is.

Organization profile
Prodrive was founded in 1993 by technical professionals from the Eindhoven University of Technology. Since then every year has shown a steep growth rate due to a very successful business concept. Currently the total Prodrive organization consists of 400 employees (320 FTE), highly skilled and highly motivated and focused on results.
The organization is based on two main groups, Development and Operations. Development is responsible for the development of electronic, mechanical and software solutions. Development works mainly on a project basis. For each project a project team with the right skills and knowledge is composed. Operations takes care of the production, assembly, testing and life cycle management of electronic products and systems in a range of 1 to 50.000 per year. The Development and Operations groups are support by a Sales department and a small Organization Support Group.

Procedure
The application procedure consists of three interviews. The first interview is to test the attitude/personality and ambition of the candidate and match it with the organization culture and goals. This interview is conducted by one of the directors. The second interview focuses in more detail on the match between de candidate and the vacancy. This interview is conducted by the supervisor. When these interviews are successfully completed, the Human Resource Manager will talk with you about the working conditions.Prodrive aims to let these conversations take place on the same day, so the time of the procedures remains limited.
